Casa Brisa

The story

There's something about living by the beach that makes you want to bring a little bit of the outdoors inside.

And that's exactly the feeling we wanted to capture with Casa Brisa.

Located in the beautiful coastal setting of Laguna Beach, California, this residential project began with a client who already had the floor plans figured out. What they needed next was a design that could give the home its architectural personality and bring their vision to life.

That's where we came in.

Taking inspiration from modern tropical architecture and the laid-back atmosphere of coastal living, we developed an exterior design that feels contemporary, welcoming, and right at home by the beach.

The main idea was simple: make the transition between indoors and outdoors feel as seamless as possible.

Rather than treating the exterior as something separate from the home, we approached it as an extension of the living experience, creating a visual connection between the interior spaces and the beachside setting.

And of course, a coastal home deserves an atmosphere that feels just as relaxed as its surroundings.

Through thoughtful architectural detailing, material selection, and carefully composed 3D visualizations, we explored how the house could capture that easygoing, vacation-like feeling without losing its modern character.

From developing the exterior elevations to creating the 3D model and final architectural renderings, Crisostomo Architects helped turn the client's existing floor plans into a fully visualized architectural design.

The result is Casa Brisa, a modern coastal home concept that embraces the idea of blurring the boundaries between inside and out.

Because when you're living by the beach, the outdoors should always feel like part of home.
