Mr. Lim's Staff House

The story

Behind every well-maintained property are the people who help keep everything running smoothly.

For the owner of this expansive property in Tanato, Balanga City, providing his staff with a proper place to stay was an important part of the plan.

And that's where Mr. Lim's Staff House came in.

Inspired by Modern Spanish architecture, the two-storey residence brings a warm, welcoming character to a building designed primarily around practicality and everyday comfort.

The ground floor accommodates separate male and female staff bedrooms, along with a shared kitchen and dining area, laundry facilities, and storage spaces. Upstairs, two additional bedrooms provide more private accommodations, connected by a central hallway overlooking the space below.

With a symmetrical layout and thoughtfully organized spaces, the design balances individual privacy with the convenience of shared facilities.

Crisostomo Architects developed the architectural design, construction documentation, and 3D visualizations for the 262.11-square-meter residence.

Because a well-designed home isn't just about impressive spaces or expensive finishes.

Sometimes, it's simply about giving the people who work hard every day a comfortable place to come home to.
