MUJI Haus

Less clutter. More room for living.

MUJI Haus — opening project view

The story

Sometimes, the best kind of home is one that doesn't try too hard to impress.

For the owners of MUJI Haus, who had recently purchased a residential lot in Bulacan, the inspiration was clear: the simplicity, warmth, and understated charm of Japanese MUJI design.

So we kept things simple, but certainly not boring.

Behind its minimalist character is a thoughtfully planned home filled with spaces that reflect the family's everyday lifestyle.

The ground floor brings together an open living and dining area, a master bedroom, and even a dedicated room for the family's cats. There's also a cozy outdoor coffee area, perfect for those mornings when a little fresh air makes that first cup even better.

Upstairs, two additional bedrooms share a balcony, while a roof deck provides another place to enjoy the outdoors.

With clean architectural forms and an emphasis on practical, uncluttered living, MUJI Haus explores how simplicity and comfort can work beautifully together.

Crisostomo Architects developed the architectural design, interiors, and visualizations for this residential concept.

Because sometimes, a home doesn't need more decoration, more complexity, or more of anything.

It just needs the right spaces for the people, and pets, who call it home.
